10 "Camping de mon Village" stopovers not to be missed!

Do you dream of a vacation in a motorhome, van or even a tent, in harmony with nature and local heritage? This summer, hit the road with CAMPING-CAR PARK and discover 10 charming stops where culture, nature and freedom go hand in hand. These stopovers are part of the "CAMPING de mon Village" network, redeveloped from former municipal campsites. Welcoming motorhomes all year round, and tents and caravans in summer thanks to their sanitary facilities, they offer a calm, green setting conducive to discovery.

1. Auberive (Haute-Marne)

Nestled in the Parc National de Forêts, Auberive charms visitors with its Cistercian abbey and contemporary art exhibitions. A place where old stones meet nature and creativity.

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Philippe :"Super camping car. Well equipped with toilets and WE...Shady pitches... Well signposted and reasonably priced."

Agnès : "We had a very pleasant stay at this motorhome park, and what's more, it's in the shade, which in the heat of the day was quite nice. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, and there's even a washing machine available free of charge. I'd never seen anything like it, and it's very much appreciated, even if I didn't use it as it was the end of our vacation.

2. Roquecourbe (Tarn)

The gateway to the Sidobre region, Roquecourbe is the kingdom of strangely shaped granite rocks. Let us tell you about its legends, explore the forest, and don't miss nearby Castres.

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Blanchard : "We had a very pleasant stay at this motorhome park, and what's more, it's in the shade, which in the heat of the day was quite nice. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, and there's even a washing machine available free of charge. I'd never seen anything like it, and it's very much appreciated, even if I didn't use it as it was the end of our vacation.

Pathy: "A quiet, leafy spot. With water, electricity and toilet services."

Set course for Aubrac! Here, culture meets wide open spaces. Visit the Maison de la Cabrette, stroll along the Truyère, and admire the panoramic views from Lake Sarrans.

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Francis : "Very spacious, welcoming in a small village where people are friendly. The sanitary facilities are old but very clean. Thanks to the commune for this area."

4. Sepmes (Indre-et-Loire)

Opposite the Jardin d'Artiste de la Cressonnière, Sepmes welcomes you to Touraine. Galleries, trails, charming villages and Loire castles are all on the program!

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Christian : "Camper park open all year round and my village campsite in summer until the end of October. Showers and toilets are clean, and the person in charge is very kind and attentive. Sanitary facilities adapted for the disabled. Nearby, a water tower painted by a local artist. Hiking and cycling trails. 4 km from Sainte Maure de Touraine, famous for its cheese. Beautiful region to discover.

5. Lunery (Cher)

Along the Cher River, Lunery invites you to take a refreshing break in the heart of Berry. Between industrial vestiges and preserved nature, a gentle immersion awaits you.

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Eric : "The campsite is well maintained even in winter. The lighting is on at night. The garbage cans are at the entrance. In case of rain, given the number of spaces available, we can park in the access areas to the plots. You'll need to think about refuelling if you want to stay. In the village, you'll find a bar-tabac-restaurant and a bakery-pastry shop with good quality products."

6. Reuilly (Indre)

For wine and heritage lovers, Reuilly is an ideal stopover. Stroll between vineyards and wine cellars, taste local produce and discover peaceful trails.

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Sylvain : "Quiet and peaceful place, nice location, close to the town. Small downside, it's not specified anywhere on any site that it's in a flood zone, except on the wall of the building at the entrance to the campsite."

Mélanie : "Nice camping car area, in the shade of beautiful trees, very well equipped and very clean.... Quiet, in a small village with all amenities! Plus: access to sanitary facilities and showers!!!"

8. Taugon (Charente-Maritime)

In the heart of the Marais Poitevin, Taugon promises peaceful canals, typical villages and walks or canoe trips. A nature stopover par excellence.

Our motorhome owners' opinion:

Jean-François: "Very nice area. You just have to be careful in the wet months, as greasy soil quickly appears under the grass... (experience in December and a sign warns you at the entrance). But the Taugonnais are extremely helpful and available to help you. A great memory, we'll be back without hesitation."
