Today, I'm sharing my motorhome getaway to a highly sought-after spot in Charente-Maritime: La Palmyre and its surroundings. I had heard about three CAMPING-CAR PARK sites CAMPING-CAR PARK located a few kilometers from each other: Corsaire, Les Pins, and La Garenne. My curiosity led me to explore them all... and I don't regret it one bit!
I planned to stay in the area for a week, and I can tell you that each destination offers a distinct atmosphere, with various activities to suit your preferences.
This is where I started my stay. The site is ideally located, just a stone's throw from Bonne Anse beach. A quick dip to cool off, some sunbathing, and shops nearby for easy restocking. The site perfectly meets your needs: decent pitches, well-thought-out services, and a real holiday atmosphere. I stayed there for two days, enjoying leisurely strolls and soaking up the sun.

If you plan to visit the famous La Palmyre Zoo, this is the perfect spot! I walked there from the site, it's very accessible. Another great advantage: the Coubre forest and its numerous cycle paths. A real treat for nature lovers! Les Pins beach is 500 meters away, and at that time, a food truck was set up nearby, perfect for a quick bite. Three very active days where time flew by without me even noticing.

To end my stay on a relaxing note, I chose this smaller, quieter, and equally pleasant site. The village is just a short walk away, convenient for shopping or grabbing a drink. And for families, there's a great pumptrack for the kids, a small local cinema... and even the Luna Park just a few minutes away, accessible by bus during the summer! It was the cherry on top to conclude this wonderful trip.

If you're hesitating between these sites, why not do as I did and try all three? Each offers a unique experience, and the CAMPING-CAR PARK Privilege Pack really makes traveling and booking easier.
In any case, La Palmyre charmed me. I will definitely come back.
Happy travels to all, and see you soon on the road!
