The Normandy Landings on June 6, 1944, marked a key phase of the Second World War and the beginning of the liberation of France. Welcome to the 4th edition of the Swing D-Day Festival in Lion-sur-Mer! For three days, from June 6 to 8, the seaside resort comes alive with the rhythm of jazz and commemorations.
Don't miss the Grand Parade of Sword Beach, with a procession of civilian and military vehicles between Lion-sur-Mer and Ouistreham, accompanied by a concert of famous pipers.
Also discover an exceptional exhibition of a Spitfire aircraft, as well as the photo retrospective "The Heroes of D-Day", on display until August 31.

At the end of the day, enjoy a concert on the museum esplanade in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont from 6:30 pm, before the fireworks display scheduled for around 11 pm.
