June Celebrations on the Atlantic Coast: 6 Festive Motorhome Stages

When summer arrives, the Atlantic coast is adorned with its most beautiful colors and its most joyful atmosphere. From the Landes coast to the Basque Country, June is a month of festivities where conviviality and good humor reign supreme. In a motorhome, set off on a 6-stage tour through regions full of character and traditions.

Stage 1: Saint-Gor from June 6 to 9

The Pentecost festivities open in Saint-Gor on Friday, June 6 with a belote competition in the evening. For four days, the town comes alive with a program that is as original as it is festive:

  • Decorated bike parade followed by drinks and snacks
  • Ardennes evening with a "Cacasse à cul nu" menu, followed by karaoke and a glow stick party
  • Landes-style bullfighting in the arena
  • Tartiflette dinner and dance
  • Classic car show and drinks with music

Make the most of your visit to explore Roquefort, Landes d'Armagnac, and maybe even head to Mont-de-Marsan!

Stage 2: Doazit from June 12 to 15

During the local festivals of Doazit, from Thursday, June 12 to Sunday, June 15, the village comes alive with contests, games, and communal meals.

  • Musical parade and decorated bikes
  • Cooks' race

Take some time to visit Amou, Grand Dax, Saint-Sever and the surrounding villages.

Stage 3: Sanguinet from June 13th to 15th

Three days of festivities await you in Sanguinet around Saint-Sauveur, with a gourmet market, shows, games, brass bands and entertainment for all ages.

Stage 4: Saint-Jean-de-Luz from June 19th to 23rd

In the heart of the Basque Country, Saint-Jean-de-Luz celebrates its patron saint's festival and the Fires of Saint John in a unique atmosphere.

  • Tamborrada, concerts and Basque strength games
  • Official ceremony on Place Louis XIV
  • Fires of Saint John on June 23rd or 24th, dances and songs around the flames

Stop 5: Capbreton from June 21st to 22nd
